I was delighted to be awarded the inaugural Rough Magic Fellow with The Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute.
The Trinity Long Room Hub, in collaboration with artistic director Lynne Parker, has established the Rough Magic Fellowship to mark our 40th anniversary mark our connections with Trinity College Dublin, including Trinity Library where our archive is housed.
The Rough Magic Fellow will develop a creative project in the interdisciplinary environment of the Hub, sharing practice-based experience with the institute’s research community and working in collaboration with Trinity’s Creative Arts Practice Research Theme. With a focus on how technology and design can create intimate, human moments in theatre, my time will be spend exploring audience immersion and the application of technological approaches to staging theatrical texts.
